Agreed. Never knew the brand until today. It’s a very cool thing.
I spend a lot of time looking at new/different watch brands, Devon is another. Is is nice to see people wearing them.

So it was worth the week-long wait then? wink

Maybe if you'd shelled out another ten grand, you could have got one with an alarm to remind you to look at the bloody thing at the right time. biggrin

Oh yes ..... Definitely worth the wait .... This will be a keeper .. already investigating getting a HYT dark fabric style strap smile

I don't have a watch with an alarm
Unfortunately the rules are .. one out for one in & the budget will be more Bobbers than Edmondo's

How will you go about servicing it? Are there people from the company who are able to get parts etc?

love those watches, you definitely have an eclectic taste, Unfortunately i could never afford one, but nice to see different brands posted up,
My interest was piqued by this so I googled it, and the first page said it all; founded in Neuchatel in 2012. Now bankrupt. Such a pity. A brave experiment and congratulations on having one.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I see their website is now not functioning - It was still up and running on 27th May as I was reviewing their strap options
My very sad internet search history

Servicing may now be a problem ....... frown

It's still a watch I want in my collection smile

They did.

However I seem to remember there were rumours that they had two companies or something.

They had the watch brand side (which is the one that went belly up) and they also had a separate entity which was the ‘technology’ business (essentially the IP for the clever stuff as this was worth the money) and that side did not go bust and was still able to service these things.

It’s something I heard on a podcast a long while back so apologies if it’s vague or potentially incorrect.

I believe your correct and there are 2 separate companies,
I don't know the state of the second company .... looks like I'll have some researching to do this weekend,

Ultimately this new news doesn't effect my love for my new watch .... As it's a great piece but is only going to be worn sparingly,

As with all my small collection ....
If the value go's north to the point it's value exceeds my desire to keep it (Snoopy) then I'll move it on
If the value go's south then I bought a watch I like and it's value is me liking wearing it

Totally agree with the comments about value.

I sold a few that were just way more valuable cash wise than the enjoyment i got from them.

I mildly regret selling my 5513 but in general it means that the few I have left are in effect free.

On the watch in question even if the IP co is moribund currently you'd have to think one of the big boys would pick up the IP in the end.

Good god man ... you can't show me a website like that ...
You know I have a problem with "Your checkout is empty" self control, and that combined currently with an embarrassment to the financial department just adds to the pain banghead

Luckily I don't have £2.365m otherwise the Louis Moinet 8 Wonders of the World Box set would be winging it's way to me.

I mean I imagine they'd let me have it in instalments - kinda like all those other exclusive pieces of artwork you find on the back page of the Sunday Mirror lifestyle magazine.

They'd look smashing alongside my Diana wall plate & my Wing'd Horse of Wonderfulness.

I'll book next May 12th and prebook 31 Dec 2029 thumbup
