Speaking of Lemania, today I am sporting this golden 105 from the 40s/50s, unrestored. I find it very classy. smile

Agreed. That's very classy bling. Much like for that.

Wearing my favourite B&R today, with my favourite complication.
Great to see some variety here for a change. Makes a change from the everyday Rolex posts on this thread...

There is something about "vintage gold" compared to a modern yellow gold watch. Maybe the years take the edge of it a bit.

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate them!

Sturdy, I wasn't really aware of Lemania either before I got a hold of this watch a couple years back. They were producing their own movement and watches back in the days. Around the 30s, they merged with Omega and Tissot and became their in-house movement producer; Aldrin's famous Speedmaster has a Lemania movement. Eventually, after some re-org the group passed hands and now they are owned by Breguet, but the name Lemania is not customer-facing since ages.

Happy new year to all.

Brietling produced a similar watch called Toptime I think, that was also a beautiful watch

I was about to put on something vintage for the eveni g, inspired by you lot.

Then realised that I am maki g dim sum, and that this requires timing. And the bezel of a dive watch is just right for this sort of thing. Lacking any vintage divers, I put on my favourite of this type in my collection. Happy new year, all! May it bring you health and happiness.

For me it’s because they’re the less obvious choice, although I do like the Bloodhound link (even though it was a failure) and the Exp 1 is a classic.

I keep looking at Turnographs and wonder why they never caught on. I really do like them and can see me trying one in the near future.

Can you stop posting Rolex's which I was never really aware of. I really like that Turnograph. Just the three for next year now rofl

My steamer has a mechanical timer...I can wear a 2 hand watch when enjoying dim sum. I love progress wink (I also love the current blue 300m Diver, want one to keep my old black steel bezel company, but torn between that and the Breitling superocean 57, first world problems)

biggrin I think this thread needs a Rolex ban!

Today it’s one of the first decent watches I bought about fifteen years ago. Somehow it’s survived many culls and remains in the collection, probably because it’s not really worth selling. It’s a lot of watch for the c.£200 they cost used.

Probably switch to something a bit blingier for going out later!

Nice, I love B&R stuff smile and the 46mm versions are rare beasts!

I regret not picking up a 01-92 when I saw one for half-price in a clearout sale years ago now, and the 'thin' minutes hand now on the 03-92 (as opposed to the original 'sword'(?) hands for both minutes and hours) does not appeal!

EDIT: Wait - your favourite B&R?

What other ones do you own?! smile

I also have an original Phantom (the black on black) and a red radar.
