biggrin I think this thread needs a Rolex ban!

Today it’s one of the first decent watches I bought about fifteen years ago. Somehow it’s survived many culls and remains in the collection, probably because it’s not really worth selling. It’s a lot of watch for the c.£200 they cost used.

Probably switch to something a bit blingier for going out later!

I love that strap!

Is it aftermarket?

Nice, I love B&R stuff smile and the 46mm versions are rare beasts!

I regret not picking up a 01-92 when I saw one for half-price in a clearout sale years ago now, and the 'thin' minutes hand now on the 03-92 (as opposed to the original 'sword'(?) hands for both minutes and hours) does not appeal!

EDIT: Wait - your favourite B&R?

What other ones do you own?! smile

I also have an original Phantom (the black on black) and a red radar.
Ooh, nice, the ones that are a bit 'different' are striking!

The Phantom version must be interesting to read at a glance... lol

I might have some spare cash this coming year. If I can find an 03-92 or an 01-92 that has good provenance and isn't a replica (the copies seem to be very good from the pictures I've seen), I might pick one up! smile

Do you have your eye on anything else from them? wink

It’s a Hirsch Mariner. I think they’re only £30 or so but they’re great value and the quick release pins mean you can change straps in seconds.

Excellent, thank you very much!

I think I might already have a Hirsch strap on one of mine but I do like the 'padded' look smile

Interesting! They feel quite 'retro' to me, sort of Genta-inspired smile

I've got a copy of the BR02 Pro Diver dial - really a very comfortable and unobtrusive watch to wear, despite the listed size, and excellent legibility. One more for the list of 'when I'm rich'... laugh lol

Hi CDG - sadly they have sold out, as everywhere seems to have. Should have bought a couple when I had the chance...
