I like that, not too dissimilar to my Magrette Moana Bronze. In fact, that strap looks to be identical!
Aye Tropic straps all look the same with a few aesthetic variations based on whether they are modern style or vintage style! The main difference is the material used and the padded outer thickness. Some brands use thinner rubber so the top side looks more flat whereas others use a thicker rubber with rounded lug ends and a padded top side. Looks like Magrette use the latter type but I can't see any pics of the whole strap so cannot be 100% sure. I would guess it's not silicone but vulcanised rubber given how it looks on the promo pics on your watch (which looks great btw!). Can you post a pic maybe? Would be cool to see the patina on yours too.The strap on mine is a Joseph Bonnie vulcanised rubber. French made and is softer than the other rubber tropic straps. Like these because they are slightly shorter in length so more suited to those with smaller wrists <6.5" - The standard strap with the Baltic is also rubber and also French but isn't as pliable. There's a big price difference between the two as well largely down to the rubber compound used but I think the extra price is worth the extra quality you get!

I noticed someone posted the same watch a few days ago.
This is absolutely one of my favourites and a watch that is significantly better in the flesh than in photos.
Mine was posted a couple of days ago; it’s had a fair bit of wear lately and I’m also very fond of it.This is absolutely one of my favourites and a watch that is significantly better in the flesh than in photos.

Think yours must be quite an early one, as no day window?
What strap is that one please?

Not sure how many he made but I was able to choose number 42.Think yours must be quite an early one, as no day window?

The original strap is still ok but one of the retainers failed giving me an excuse to buy one of the dangerous 9 straps.

Love that.Is it designed to patinate, or treated so it stays shiny? If the latter, I may want one. I don't really like my patinated bronze watch, and keep dunking it in lemon juice every few months to get it box fresh again...

What watch do you currently have? There are a few types of bronze secondary alloy used which will dictate how fast and how much patination kicks in as well as the colour tone it has.Is it designed to patinate, or treated so it stays shiny? This link will tell you the important stuff to consider when looking at other bronze watches: https://www.pontvswatch.com/blogs/watches/what-to-...
As for the Baltic, it is CuAL8 bronze, so aluminium is the secondary material. This type of bronze has higher corrosion resistance and is often used in marine environments. Tudor also use this bronze on their Black Bay Bronze. It patinas more evenly and slower compared to say the tin based bronze that Oris use. My mate bought the Big Crown Pointer Date Bronze few weeks ago and returned it after a week as he didn't like how unevenly it would patina, the lugs under a sleeve would stay shiny whilst the exposed lugs would patina!
Fratello Magazine had a review] of the Baltic and their header image shows a well patinated version to give you an idea of how it could end up (I say could because no patination is the same!)
Also bear in mind you can get bronze waxes that extend patination times too if you did want it to stay shinier for a lot longer!

I have a memory of 115 or so being out there; mine was no 83. Be good if there were a few more.
