As a feat of engineering, that is off the scale. If I won the lottery I would buy one just to admire it.

That’s quite cool … shame about the date wheel but otherwise rather good.

Absolutely agree, and it’s just as well as I am not sure it would withstand wearing outside of a padded room full of clouds!

Piaget do some amazing work.

That looks like it should come out of a Christmas cracker! Richard Mille has spent so much on advertising and loaning/giving watches away to celebrities he's lured people in like the Emperor's New Clothes idiom so the actual costs of production, materials and mechanical movement skill are probably not much more than that of Swatch but the high prices are needed justify his outgoings.

A friend of mine has one, not the Kinder Surprise one above, but one of their more 'restrained' models (if there's such a thing) as he believed he needed one in his watch collection. Having looked over it I didn't think it was anything special.

I love that and would have it in a heartbeat.

However, not at RM prices. If I was spending daft money on a watch, I'd be looking at Urwerk or MB&F.

I nearly bought an Urwerk but got the Bumblebee Royal Oak Offshore instead.

I loved the AP but did wish I’d had the Urwerk instead!

Got neither now.

U need a sense of fun, that RM above is lovely , a nice smiley face everytime u look at the face, smiles to remind u that u can indeed afford to splash out on a £1m watch...smile indeed
Seiko have done me again, get a 60th ani diver , then they bring out the black ushio tide, which is superb & been my daily since i got it, now they go and bring out a blue one...oh no , still at £10k I am saving £990k i would of spent had i bought the Mille, so that makes me smile!!

It's not perfection though, the screw heads are not aligned...

I saw the ushio tide and fancied one; now I’ve seen this I’m more excited! Looks lovely

They could’ve made them bolt heads so that they get the head aligned and then tighten up from the other side where you can’t see the alignment.
How hard can it be? I mean it looks like they’ve got microns and microns of leeway there to shove in some nuts and bolts instead of screws!! I should’ve been a watchmaker.

I'm sure you'll agree with me that in this current period of Rolex unavailability ... Watch officianos such as ourselves are going to have to paroose other manufacturers,
And I think Hublot are really knocking it out the park with their latest offerings smile

Should you be a little conspicuous with a gold watch Hublot again have you covered with ...

And for those with a social concious ... supporting Save Our Rhinos Africa India
