Film connections aside, I really like this watch. Will most probably be my next purchase all being well.

i've always looked for watches with simple, clear dials, so a few years ago i bought a Nomos (first pic) and also liked the one in the 2nd pic. [url]

Great to look at , not the best time keeper i've ever had though
I'm a big fan of these.

Pretty much obsessed with this Grand Seiko Heritage SBGA413.

Part of a series that represents the different seasons in Japan, this particular one has a dial that is designed to look like the cherry blossom trees in springtime.

It looks mostly white, but as it catches different light it becomes cherry blossom pink.

Stunning in my opinion, and the Spring Drive movement is a masterpiece that I would like to own at some point.

40mm and £4800.

Oh that’s lovely. I’m rather a GS fan.

Nothing outlandish and I could buy it tomorrow, however I am trying to save money at the moment...

The want is strong though, must stay off Chrono24 once I have had a beer or three.

Yes, I know it isn't a Moonwatch but the lack of WR puts me off those in honesty.

Hamilton khaki is my every day watch, tough little watch ( mine is a 38) and great value.

This is a dangerous thread to stumble across! Nomos is new to me but they make some lovely looking watches! yes

I've got the second of those two Nomos watches (it's a Tangente Neomatik Silvercut). It is very nicely made.

Funnily enough, I don't really get on with it. I have small wrists, and the Nomos just looks a bit big on me. Although the watch is 'only' 38.5mm, it's pretty much all dial, so it appears to wear much bigger.

Perhaps I need to find it a good new home at a fair price for both parties. If anyone thinks it would suit them, please PM me smile

I quite understand that - I really want to like Nomos but when I had one it just wasn’t right somehow.

I am strangely intrigued by this: Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Elite:

I like the Sealander, until I realised what happens when you translate it into Latin.

And you just know that crown is going to break...

Same. I'm always translating watch names into dead languages in case I bump into a coptic speaking monk. I still shudder that time I wore my datejust to the sanskrit convention.
