Seiko SNE527P1. Plain, simple, accurate and cheap(ish) at £110 in the H. Samuel sale.

The perfect work watch.

Slightly over thread budget, but what a great versatile watch! Not as accurate as the Spinnaker though…
I like that - what is it please ?

Looks like a Seiko turtle, possibly an srp789

It is indeed a Seiko ‘Turtle’ SRP789. It’s on a leather strap rather than the bracelet that it came on. I’ve had it a good few years now… it’s a fairly well made and robust thing

I’ve put the Spinnaker onto a light mesh. Quite pleased with it…

Lots of love for a mesh strap round these parts (well, with the exception of Luxemburg).

Looks very classy indeed.

Resisting the Steeldive and Spinnaker for now.

Most definitely not alone, I cannot abide a mesh strap.

Resistance is futile laugh

Honestly though, I can’t speak about Spinnaker as I have no experience there but you’d definitely not be disappointed with a Steeldive.

On some watches I think they look great but having worn one I'm not really a fan.

I like that. I like that a lot.

I suppose you might as well post up a link as to where you got it from now.

I'm not going to help either. I've got a Spinnaker and a Steeldive and they're both great. If I had to pick one only, it would be the former, but that's based on my choices rather than anything else more logical. Can't go wrong with either in my view.
