The Under £200ish Watch and occasional Opera Thread! Vol2
Discussion
Changing the subect slightly. I've just purchased tickets for the 25 year bash at Bicester. Is anyone else going?
If the Skunk gets there without, you know, breaking down & assuming it makes it into the display car lineup, please feel free to say "Hello" to it's owner if you see him hanging around it.

I love and hate this thread at the same time.
I have pencil wrists, so realistically a 36-38mm case dia is about my limit.
And then I see you all posting these great watches with your meaty wrists
Tryst me, having gorilla wrists comes with its own problems!!!I have pencil wrists, so realistically a 36-38mm case dia is about my limit.

That should be re-starting CdeG’s collection. I’ll buy it if not. It looks lovely. If you don’t need to move it quickly that belongs on this thread Any recommendations for a budget mechanical moon phase?
Liking the Farer moon phase collection but a too bit spendy for me

I wanted an older style watch from the year I was born (1994), and always liked the small Swatches (I have toothpick wrists), but didn't like the style from that year, so settled for one the year my girlfriend was born instead (96).
New job coming up which is completely office based, so I can actually have something like this, rather than the Inox Victorinox that I wear now for work
I don't like gold watches, or a leather strap, but there's something about this that I like..
£45 from Chrono 24, making its way from Italy at the moment
