What happened to your Tisell GMT from a few weeks back? I'd be interested in the Tisell and your views.
Oops. Did I say or imply I was going to get one? I can’t remember. I seem to recall that it was just something I noticed, as the cheapest way to get into the new Miyota ‘true’ GMT movement.

Anyway I have my Tisell diver on this week, back on the bracelet, and very nice it is too.

I’m also considering that Tissot PRX automatic chronograph that’s for sale on TZ, it’s ridiculously cheap and I have a mate who lives nearby, so it’s tempting. Well over thread budget but sized/unworn for £700 is a decent saving from RRP which is about £2000.

i keep uhm'ing and ahh'ing on a PRX quartz. Can get a quartz one for not much more than thread budget, and i actually prefer the quartz sunburst dial to the auto waffle dial. Would get it on a rubber strap but still keep thinking its still a bit too dressy.

I keep looking at them too, then wonder where it would fit in my collection/when I’d wear it (not that has stopped me in the past)

I like 'em too, but I'm a cheapskate...90 notes (quartz, natch).

In case anyone else is interested, Steeldive US have no-date 50 Fathoms models in stock. Unobtainium from UK sites for ages. They are $149-159 with $5 postage...

I'll let you know if mine turns up biggrin

Well that was quick! And it's as expected from Steeldive, apart from the surprisingly ill-matched bracelet -but 50 Fathoms are better on a strap anyway. I'm very pleased with it, it's a really nice homage.

I have a bronze Steeldive 50 fathoms on a sort of suede leather strap, it's a lovely thing.

Yes, I remember your posting it - must have been around 3 years ago? How's the patina coming along?

Double thread (but it's almost Easter!) but I quite like the look of this.

I love that Sternglas Tiffany blue new release, been looking at their watches for a while now.
Can always switch the strap if needed with their quick release straps….

I didn't think I'd like it to tarnish, but it actually looks good, when we're back home I'll post up a picture.

Sod it, just ordered. Life's too short to dither!

Combined it with a 5% welcome code too which was accepted but I'd be surprised if it works as it's already a discounted offer price. I'll let you all know.

D1 Milano 'Sketch' is back in stock for $195 - but only in white and only outside the EU (and the store won't ship to EU, despite saying 'we ship worldwide')...

Order confirmed so looks like I might be in luck with the lower price.

Well I suppose that's one thing in favour of Brexit then (assuming you want one of these and you are in the UK!)

Unfortunately D1 Milano still includes the UK within the EU... lol

I like the simplicity but not all the gumpf on the site.

Anyone know of anything similar?

Mrs gave me this watch many years ago and it has spent at least three years sitting in an old wooden box with a broken strap stopped dead. Sentiment being a funny thing, it's now got a new strap, a new battery and has been back on my wrist for a week or so...the cheapo replacement parts and getting the strap altered probably cost more than the watch did all those years ago, but it's been a faithful friend...
Same here present of missus many years ago

It’s had 2 batteries one lifetime in timpsons but I lost ticket ,so I bought tool and done my own recently.
Still in good order
