What strap are you using?

I bought mine with a Tide strap, and I hate it. So I bought a Tropic from WatchGecko, and it's really stretchy.

Struggling to find the right thing, really.

Ward's own hybrid rubber straps are great.

I also hate the Tide strap on my C60 Abyss. Dreadful and stiff.

Thank you. I'll take a look at CW.

I think that's why I enjoy my BB36 so much, I don't own anything in my collection that I'd call fancy though the simplicity of the 36 is a delight.

If James May were to describe such models he'd probably use the phrase "essence of watch" hehe

BB36 does the same thing, I've got a real soft spot for that one.

I've had a bit of an art deco week with either Kurono or Reverso at work, which is what I mean by fancy.

Somebody described the black and white OP39s as "a single unit of Rolex" which sort of says the same thing as your phrase.

Seiko BFK today

Strap is getting dunked in boiling water tonight it’s new and as conforming as a brick.
My older example has picked up a few battle scars over the years. Mainly due to the sheer size of it. Great watch though…

I’d recommend Barton watchbands. The elite silicone one they do is the best quality and most comfortable I’ve found. Reasonable price also.

These do look nice. I could do with a bronze buckle, but I suspect I'll be buying a couple of straps anyway.

ETA : £65 spent. You'd better be right about them. smile

The original bezel insert on mine makes yours look mint! The current is a ceramic (I think for an Omega) put in by the previous owner, along with a new crystal. I bought the oem rubber strap and bracelet to liven it up. The yellow looks cracking.

Decided to brush the centre links on the Mido bracelet this evening - a success I think, never done it before, not difficult.

I kept the polished bevel on the edge as it matches the case.

Much prefer it now.
