Give me credit for tying my own laces, though.

For those of us not in the know can the poster state under a picture what the model/make is? i'm completely ignorant of watches but interested in some that have been posted as they look nice so would be keen to google what they are/cost etc. i wear a du maurier commodore, absolutely nothing special but i likes it. i would post a pic but im in isolation without it!

Mine just above your original message is a Seiko SARB065 “Cocktail Time” - it’s a discontinued JDM only model that I imported several years ago.

Chrono Saturday? I do prefer the strap to the bracelets...polished centre links are scratch magnets (and the zenith bracelet is far lower quality than the rest of the watch haha)

I love the Zenith and had ordered one at WOS, when another dealer called me about the Daytona. I made a bit of a head decision, thought I'd keep the Rolex for a bit and then sell for a "free" Zenith at some point, but have now fallen for the Daytona, and wear it too much for it to be an investment watch.

Would be crazy to make another decision in your shoes. I like the profile of the daytona more, the zenith is a bit chunky, but wears slimmer than the stats read. I tried the rose gold Zenith at WOS regents Street last week before buying this, that was nice, but the weight wasn't as satisfying as a solid caseback rolex and the extra 10k didn't feel justified. This is my 'free' watch from selling the Hulk..now just need another sub at some point.

That is cool. I am a sucker for red markings or hands on a watch face.
