Thanks. I put it onto the Bund strap this morning. The jury is still out on the strap
I think it looks great and really suits the watch. I’ve never worn a Bund though, does it wear uncomfortably?yellowtang said:
Love that (but not the strap!) - does it come on a decent bracelet? Price?
It came with a bracelet and a leather strap but I've used neither. I put it onto this perforated leather at first, which I really like.Red Star Bullhead from AliExpress.

It seems we have very similar taste
Your photography skills are light years beyond mine, though. I’m not very adventurous with straps, both on the straps they left the factory with.
I love how the hands look dark, almost black in some lights and a beautiful vivid blue in others.
Thanks! I find it quite interesting how the bigger Marine models don't have an onion crown but more a standard crown, surely the onion is just easier to use and is more classic akin to the watch itself! Had not noticed this until now lol.Your photography skills are light years beyond mine, though. I’m not very adventurous with straps, both on the straps they left the factory with.

Speaking of straps, I did get Barton Bands' free goodwill gesture straps in the post today after they messed up an order back in ~February. Chocolate brown hybrid cordura/silicone and a grey one. The grey is on the Laco and choc brown seems to suit the bronze:

My Marine is 8 years old, perhaps the current 42mm version comes with the onion crown. I also hadn’t noticed until you pointed it out. Thanks for mentioning Barton Bands, I've just had a mooch on their website, super stuff and affordable too, not much more than AliExpress stuff (although it's probably the same products, much of it is recognisable).
I bought three. They took fking ages to arrive, but at least there wasn't any duty or tax to pay.Yeah Barton have some ongoing issues with delays in both shipping/CS from my experience but they have gone through a change in comms channels or admin it seems too which might explain it.
It's worth checking out Archer Straps on Amazon too, and some Barton models are on Amazon too. Archer ones are a near clone to Barton Bands for reference. A Sister brand I think?

I bought some canvas straps off ebay and Barton, the only difference was the Barton branding, quality was identical , but Barton was double the price.
Yeah, I bought an Elite Silicone strap, which is nice and two leather straps which are nothing to write home about. £65 for the three.Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
