Ha to change the battery on the Cgnit Schema today. I've only opened this up once when I got it due to a failed EL backlight, I could not repair it so with a miracle stroke of luck found someone selling a non Cognit Schema version (same module) so bought it and swapped the modules over. The seller said it had a new battery and that was about a year ago but given the battery was on its last legs, I think the seller was fibbing his eyeballs out. No issue though, only "2.95 for a pair of CR2016.

Those 4 springs you see can fall out. If they do, you will basically never find them again! It happened to me with the original module lol. Kinda harrowing given the rarity of this thing now and making sure to get the gasket in the recess properly and not overtighten the screws etc.

Brought out the usual summer watch, Tudor GMT, usually abroad somewhere now but due to a 15 day old baby this year there will be no abroad so resorted to paddling pool and beers

The SKX007J. J made in Japan, don’t make them anymore.
Was a cheap watch when I got it, 5 odd years ago!

Haven’t worn it for weeks. Just checked on time.is and it’s absolutely bang on. Wonderful watch.

I really like watches with "deep bowl" numbered bezels. Nice example.

I'm trying really hard to not buy a Sinn 144 at the moment and this is not helping - what a beauty! biglaugh Is that a 140? What are your thoughts on it?

They're currently quoting a 31 week lead time at the moment, which is also holding me back. A bit.
