I'm a big Breitling fan and think they represent excellent value (especially second hand) and are somewhat snobbishly overlooked by the Rolex/Omega fanboys.
I'd love a Chronomat, but too big for me.
The Chronomat 44 wears smaller than you’d think, it’s still big but lug to lug isn’t too bad and the strap drops straight down so it sits quite well. Fine on my 7.5” wrists but might be a bit big for less than that. I'd love a Chronomat, but too big for me.
I think the problem with Breitling is they do the budget models which sort of cheapens the brand a bit - the nasty Endurance Pro and the Colt. It’s a shame because of all the watches claiming to be ‘tool’ watches they’re the ones most likely to be used as tools as they’re very popular with pilots. The Aerospace is perfect for the job. I really like them.
GOt a new watch for xmas off the wife its a Huawei GT3 - now many will think that's not wrist worthy but it tells the time, it monitors some health stuff and at the gym I don't need my phone for music now (had a Samsung S21 plus when they came out 3rd week fell out of my pocket when bench pressing dumbbells, dropped dumbbells and one landed on it snapped in half), It has a nice timer for resting between sets and I changed the strap for a yellow rubber one to match my old Tissot Moto GP (T Race) I have had for ten years. I hope this lasts the same amount of time as it does what a watch should. Only downside so far, Huawei are blocked from Play store so you use Huawei version of the app store which likely means the Chinese government are giving me a social credit score as I type. But no over all does what a watch should and you don't needed to wear a bright yellow strap if that's not your thing (the black one it came with was worse quality that then £5.99 amazon yellow one).
It has a whole heap of other functions that I will never use but music an the timer are good (I used the T Race as a chronograph works much better for some reason as a timer than a G shock style stop watch)

This grows on me every day. Look at what thr face does in sunlight - subtly different texturing on each "tile" reflects light in different ways. Only seems to happen with sunlight, artificial light throws up the sunray effect but not this.
Amazing watch, an absolute bargain, and has quickly become a favourite over watches costing many times what I paid for it.

Very simple on an off photo it looks when off very much like the T Race it replace but screen is clear and it does the job, I have always been a G Shock an suit type rather than the Swiss watch (I bought a tag my first banking job to fit in....then thought whatever), I have always liked watches that have other useful functions Tissot Touch was good, an chronographs are good for the gym, and the G shocks I have worn on tough mudder so hopefully this will serve me well a few more years.
Oh the person who posted the Tag Monaco very nice!!
