Those are the exact two I'd be buying from Swatch if they showed any sign of getting the supply chain sorted, and was happy paying £207 each, now due to the lack of supply, flippers, and no clear resolution from Swatch I'd seriously consider those snides, I just have no idea how Aliexpress seems to work, can't find anything that is logoed up as a Swatch, only 'Homages' and lets be honest it needs the logos, but I did find a snide Brietling Pro that might find it's way into my basket....not sure how many disposable beaters I need. raceboy said:

On Ali Express, the brand names are usually always removed or hidden for the photos. This applies to watches, clothes, everything. When the item arrives it will have the logos and looks as you would expect it to look. I presume they do this to avoid constant copyright or trademark lawsuits from the manufacturers of the genuine products.I've bought a mixture of stuff from Ali Express, (mostly fountain pens, a 'real leatherette' messenger bag for work, and stuff like that) but I did buy 2 watches, both Pagani Design, which sadly I hated and promptly sold on.
Just be aware that buying fake watches from Ali Express will likely be a very disappointing experience. They use photos of real watches to advertise them, but they are usually all the terrible sort of fakes that are sold in Benidorm by the Looky-Looky man for £50. Spelling mistakes, Awful quality, fake chronograph hands, steam up inside on a humid day, and then stop working after a few weeks... All that sort of thing.
If you do buy that Breitling, buy it in the knowledge that you might be just throwing it away when it arrives. If you are happy with that gamble, then feel free to proceed
The cheap $30 aliexpress moonswatch rep featured further up the page isn't reflective of the quality of a $100 one, if you bought one of those I doubt you'd be able to tell the rep from the genuine unless they were side by side.

Always surprised at the silly spelling mistakes, they get 99% of the watch spot on and then spell something daft on the back, not the first time I've seen this, is it actually some sort of deliberate error to try and say it's 'not actually a copy' May well be in the natural habitat of the looky looky man in a few days so may see what they have in stock.

The real thing blows those out of the water on quality. From the photos alone, those are clearly cheap plastic with poorly defined text in the moulding. [url]

Absolutely no issue with anyone buying a fake, but it’s not for me. It’s the same as buying a faked Moonwatch. All show and no go.

I don't disagree with you. They were bought for a bit of fun and won't be trying to pass them off as the real thing !Absolutely no issue with anyone buying a fake, but it’s not for me. It’s the same as buying a faked Moonwatch. All show and no go.
That's the fun of fakies. i bought three Rolexes off the Gift site over Lockdown. A Milgauss, a Skydweller and a Daytona. They are fab, dodgy, and st, in that order. They were 100 notes each. All autos, all reliable, all have fooled the tts I work with at Canary Wharf. Good times, baby!

I'd be interested to see the Sky Dweller - I have often thought it would be tricky to fake an annual calendar. Assuming it functions.NDA said:

Assuming it functions. But, fakes are available in varying levels of quality, as we can see from the cheaper MoonSwatches with spelling mistakes... and I doubt a £100 fake would be particularly great quality. Usually the £100 fakes are called 'AAA quality' and can range from terrible (£30 from the Looky-Looky man on the beach) to £100 where they could be described as 'Meh' and possibly passable to the untrained eye at a glance.
Would be interesting to see a £100 Sky Dweller and Daytona!
As mentioned a few pages back, I've been on holiday in Turkey, so guess what I picked up for 400 Turkish lira (about £20).
Wore it for most of the holiday as a poolside watch, and for the last day actually wore it in the pool to test. 48 hours later and its still working with no sign of trapped moisture.
I actually really like it, so much so that I will buy a proper one when/if they become more available. With working from home I just want a cheap watch i dont mind banging on the desk etc and its very comfortable to wear.
So I'll wear this until it dies or I can get a proper one.
And mine also has the dodgy spelling on the rear

I mean, for £20 you really can't complain can you? It is literally disposable after 1 holiday for that price!
Does the chrono function work? or are the chrono hands non-functional?
Yeah, I agree for the price I'd have been happy to get 2 weeks out of it but as I said it's still going. Does the chrono function work? or are the chrono hands non-functional?
The chronograph is fully functional, spins and resets accurately.

The thing is I think Swatch were arrogant enough to think people would just keep waiting, but now hooky ones are about they are going to lose a lot of money, so a success could quickly turn into a massive failure.
I don't think they intended to keep anyone waiting.I just think they massively underestimated demand. I guess they thought it would be like their other collaborations: Interesting to a reasonable number of people, and the amount they produced would satisfy demand.
Launch day for these watches demonstrated how utterly unprepared they were, and how badly they had judged the demand. Each store received something like 150-180 watches each, and there were 2000 people standing outside. They clearly had no idea what was going to happen.
The whole concept is brilliant, but Swatch's failure to understand what they were getting into, and their failure to supply customers at anything approaching a reasonable rate, has made them look like a bunch of amateurs.
