Popped to the Swatch store in the Dubai Mall a few times this week and they only ever had Sun and Uranus - don't think they could sell them tbh - and they arent colours I am interested in either.

IIRC they were AED940 so pretty much bang-on £200.

Finally got one - no queuing involved...

Covent Garden only had the pink - no thanks.

Then ended up at Battersea power station by chance and walked in to buy a Sun (my preferred choice).

£228 all in. It certainly feels like the heat/hype has gone out of the market.

Congrats.

I bought Earth and Mars, but do sometimes regret not buying Sun.

It's a lottery in London at the moment. I pop in to CG about once a week to see what they have and there's usually stock of between 2/3 and everything other than Neptune and Moon.

Got your PM.

I purchased it from Amazon: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0B15F6S51?psc=1&ref=...

Really pleased with it. The one I bought for the Jupiter on the other hand is awful quality after just minor wear. The holes are simply punched out and fray massively...

Got myself a mission to mercury last weekend from the swatch shop in New York New York casino in Las Vegas. They had all of them except mission to the moon. Wife was there last month and they only had a very small selection so they must get them in all the time now.

Put it on a NATO strap which looks much better but still not sure about the whole thing.

Feel is very different to my DSSD!

Swapped to a silicone strap from ‘Straps & Kettles’ today on my Saturn after seeing someone I know with one on their Mercury. Definitely looks better than the nato I had previously. They’re specially designed to fit the Moonwatch/Moonswatch too.

Finally got a Mercury, the last one in the shop and about 15 seconds ahead of the guy behind me.

Was very close to giving up and buying from a flipper as they are close enough to retail now, but didn’t want to out of principle.

It’s fun, I like it smile

They did well controlling supply just enough to keep people interested for the last year but feels like they are clutching at straws a bit now.

Took my £20 DHGate Neptune on holiday to use it as a pool watch. This happened after only very minimal exposure to water.

It stopped working temporarily, but came back to life after I left it in the sun all morning.
Those who claim the £20 copies are just as good or even better quality than the real Swatch have no clue what they are talking about.
I will take my real Jupiter for beach duties in the future, as I got tired of it already. The Mercury on the other hand is a fabolous watch and gets lots of wear time! But I keep looking at Earth as a fun holiday watch….
Hopefully I get a real Neptune soon! I keep looking for it in my local Swatch store, maybe every second week when I walk by. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone said that? I don't recall any of them saying they were 'as good or better', just that they were available.

Yes, people have claimed they have a mineral glass and that the second hand was dead straight center and where therefore “better“ than the real Swatch ones.

I think this was on this thread…

I thought the real ones were not particularly waterproof either so not really a good choice as a beach watch.

They're rated to 30m, so swimming is not something you should be doing whilst wearing one.
