Just chancers hoping someone is silly enough to try and pay in advance. That being said i'd probably travel to a swatch shop and camp outside it overnight to make £1100 profit.

Does this mean that (a) it’ll be easier to pick up a Moonswatch in the desired version or (b) those are about to be retired?

I hope it’s the former. I would like one but am not desperate for one - I rarely get chance to visit one of the stores in person and when I have it was either a comedy queue (Oxford Street) or door blocked by two meathead security guards like a dodgy nightclub (Covent Garden).

Saw the Blancpain in a Swatch store in Dusseldorf just now - looked very "meh"

OH bought a Uranus. "I like Uranus" I commented to a blank face lol

You’re a global manufacturing/marketing company with products in your portfolio ranging from high-end lux to day-to-day utility. You decide to dress up your utility product as a luxury product and charge a price premium and restrict supply…and it sells like hot cakes!
Now imagine if an auto manufacturer did the same…eg: VAG. Would you rush to buy a Polo dressed up as a Bentayga, or a Golf dressed up as a Urus?!

Keen to get your point across by posting on both swatch threads I see!

Yeah…didn’t know which thread was most relevant so did both!

A couple of people mentioned the Cygnet but that’s not comparable as it was just a buy-in from another company.
More relevant is the Arbarth Ferrari Tributo mentioned by MontBlanc, being from the same stable (FCA?) and a utility-product wearing high-end badging.

However not totally comparable as it doesn’t have the body of an F430!

From back in the day…what about the Wolseley Hornet?!

I doubt there were overnight queues for the Vanden Plas Allegro

Picked up a Mission to the Moon at Paris CDG Airport this week.

this was the only one of the set i wanted, so very pleased when they had it in stock (especially with no queuing/hawkers etc!!).

love the watch, however.. hate the strap! reminds me of the cheap Animal Velcro watch straps i used to use a teenage mountain biker!!

so what straps have others found that work well with the Moon, i am thinking maybe a canvas buckle strap might work? where is the best place to look/buy?

Anyone interested in a mission to sun? I've had it a while and its just not getting worn.

Was purchased brand new by myself from the manchester pop up store, the original strap has never been worn as its too long for me so it comes with a white tropic strap and a white curved ruber strap.

Have pictures i can send. Was thinking £200 delivered.

The velcro strap is horrid.
My son put his Pluto on a black rubber strap, looks really good and is very comfortable.
He bought it from Amazon for about a tenner!

Saw the display in their Lausanne store yesterday. Quite like the green one as an alternative to wearing a gshock

I don’t know if they have changed the straps slightly but the one on my Sun that I got in January feels less pliable (and therefore sits on my wrist a bit weirdly) than the Earth and Mercury I got in the last month or so.

Thanks for the tip. I went for a simple black rubber (actually I think it is silicone) strap. I think it really suits the watch, fits in with the concept….. and it is way better than the nasty Velcro original!!
