I watched it, the damage could easily have been faked.
This particular video has had lots of views and links from discussions just like this one so if it was faked then it was well worth it for the creator in terms of revenue.
So people are faking scratches now? This particular video has had lots of views and links from discussions just like this one so if it was faked then it was well worth it for the creator in terms of revenue.
So in effect, faked. Its damaged, but not by the box.
There’s been one on my local Facebook group priced at £500 for over a week now and still hasn’t sold. I offered £207 for it but he wasn’t interested!
To be honest even if he had of accepted, I wouldn’t have wanted it, I’m not sure what version it is but it’s red and white and looks like a Fisher Price toy.

I love a nice watch, especially something left field and quirky, and even quite like the idea of these Moonswatch plastic fantastics.
But the way this thread is going, and given everything else going on in the world, is anyone else thinking.. "first world intense detachment problems"?
No offence intended, honestly, but of of all the things to be obsessing over right now....

When the gshock octogen came out people were spaffing over that, not as much as this but very similar. A few years later can pick them up half retail. But the way this thread is going, and given everything else going on in the world, is anyone else thinking.. "first world intense detachment problems"?

When the next fad comes the people will on.
This is a cheap watch aimed at people who drink 4 quid coffees everyday, watch tiktok for latest trends and spend their lives living off insta

Whilst I agree with you to an extent, isn’t that exactly why things like this become so important to people? It’s either used as a mechanism to take people away from the ‘real world’ and give them something to focus on. Or alternatively you take the approach that you might be dead tomorrow, so if you want something buy it, enjoy it and don’t worry about the consequences, whether that’s a £200 watch or a 100 grand super car.

200 isn't cheap£200 is expensive and a luxury if your going to foodbanks and live on minimum wage from payday to payday.
To someone who doesn't have any interest in watches and buys a casio from Argos to tell the time (nothing wrong with that) £200 for a watch is a lot of money.
To the watch enthusiasts in general £200 is likely not a lot for a watch and they will see it as a novelty/ holiday watch, that being said the state of the screen I can imagine it's going to be ruined after a week at the beach

£200
3/4 of a tank of fuel
Which cars that?
I saw Ultimate Diesel at £1.99 a litre about 6 weeks ago and my car holds 100 litres and I thought that was surely the worst case scenario!3/4 of a tank of fuel
Which cars that?
So yes, a fill up for me costs around 3/4 of the price if this watch. I fill once a month.
That's not even the trucks, my fuel bill last month was in the thousands.
But you said £200 is about 3/4 of a tank of fuel.
At £1.79 a litre that represents a tank of 150 litres.
Can’t imagine there’s many cars with that.
Anyway. As to whether £200 is a lot for a watch I guess it depends on how much money you have and how into watches you are.
Same as most things I’d imagine.

OK, 3/5 or whatever makes you feel better, point still stands though. At £1.79 a litre that represents a tank of 150 litres.

Fuel was more expensive here recently, up to around 2 quid a litre at one point.
But hey. I'm not arguing, just saying that for some it's not big money like it is for others.
I'm not buying one in all probability, I've gone off the idea because of all the hoo Haa around them.
To some £200 is expensive, to others it isn't
However, based on the market, a £200 watch should be well made and not feel cheap when compared to others at that price
I think the popularity of this makes it less desirable from my perspective, but I do love the ga2100 g shocks that have been mentioned for having the similar mad craze
