Nah, I think you’re thinking of my green diver? That went to NDA of this forum smile

Peacock would be a tough one to sell, I’d possibly even sell my Eichii before this!

Late 90s Colt Superocean arrived in the post today! I usually go for daintier, prettier watches, and I don't usually like a lot of text on the dial, but I'm loving the military/tool watch vibe with this one.

Walking past a jeweller's in town today and my wife points out a watch in the window, saying "Ooh! That's nice."

"That," I tell her "is a Cartier Santos, but I don't really like square faces and I'm not a fan of Roman numerals."

But we go in anyway, and have a look at what else they've got.

So now I own this:

You scratched it on the first day!
Congratulations on the acquisition.

Just got back from Costa Rica, took these two swimming in rocky rivers, ATVing, boogie boarding in the ocean etc. Both held up well!

No. smile Although the bezel is highly-polished and looks like it's going to scratch incredibly easily, so I won't be too precious about it.

Excellent choice!

I recently realised that I don’t want the version I was obsessing about but that doesn’t mean that I don’t think they are REALLY REALLY nice!

Fantastic bracelets. I really like the Santos. Fancy a medium.
