I would never normally wear an expensive watch to a meeting like this, but I suspect today is not the day to be wearing a smartwatch...

Just added this to the collection. I had the previous generation Speedy Moonwatch but it was sold to fund the Apollo 11 50th version. I always missed the original so just had to get another. The bracelet is soooo much better now!

Managed to get this as a brand new piece but for a decent discount. In the Dubai, one of the local banks runs various lucky draws for customers to win watches, cars etc. One of these happened recently as 3 cropped up on the local classifieds, all the same. Unopened, full set etc. I paid close to £3900 for it which I thought was a decent deal (hesalite model).

I do like a speedy. Hopefully soon.

I'm impressed. You're up in a hot air balloon and you decide to take a photo of your watch and post it on the internet, it certainly trumps a steering wheel boss. I look forward to your 'Drinking a beer enjoying the view' post, it's gonna be quite something.
