Nice job. Your own design?
It is, albeit slightly dictated by some benches I was using as donor timber.

Thanks (and to Carlo too)! Lady F likes it (was a surprise - she's been away), so that's the big win.

Been spending my evenings making a console table/shelves for a hallway. The usual zombie army Armageddon watch is worn for this.

(Table is not yet finished, by the way - but being pleased with progress, I can't help posting some pics).

Seiko Prospex Solar. For office monkeys with delusions of being furniture makers.
Cool woodworking mate.

Hey, how are you?

If you get hold of all 3 bezel inserts and know how to change them, it’s the only watch you “need”

One of those and something borderline disposable, like an Apple watch……

You've seen my 'blue' 16610, right? Im a bezel swapping fiend!

But they're too much money now. I fear a 5-digit GMTII will never return! Can't get on board with any 6-digit, sadly.

My Tudor Subs are finished now (bezels, inserts, bracelet, etc)... maybe I'll look at swapping some stuff around in time!

Yes, nice woodworking. Pity you left the donor tree in such a state!

Love it. Instant classic.

Have been eyeballing the US-only bamboo green one, think it looks phenomenal but I'm afraid it won't age as well as this one.

Bought a new running watch last week and haven’t taken it off since. It’s making me reconsider watches. Out with the old…

Hi

Quoted from a well known watch enthusiasts website -

“What we got in its place was a new new Air-King, the ref. 126900. In press photos, I could have mistaken this watch for the older model, except for the obvious addition of crown guards. But then I saw it in person and all was revealed. If you, dear reader, have not seen it in the metal, I ask that you reserve judgment until you have”

I've gone in the opposite direction. I've got a pixel watch for health tracking like going for a run, but I now leave it in my pocket more so I can wear an actual watch.
