That is really lovely Glashutte are very under-rated IMHO. I am glad that they haven't been discovered by the mainstream, because the prices are still sort-of reasonable and most models are readily available without having to buy Christmas gifts for your AD's kids.
There is a new PanoMatic Calendar model which includes an annual calendar function. I have my eye on either one of those, or a Senator Perpetual, for 2024...
Am really liking it so far. Definitely flies under the radar and if you know, you know.
Was kindly given a travel case with the watch too, which is handy and a nice touch from the AD.
After having been smitten by this model when it was launched around 20 years ago, it's a kind of 'pinch myself' moment when it is on my wrist now. Very happy with it. Here's another cheeky pic:

Couldn't agree more. Am about to push the button on another GO to accompany this one:
There's a Teddy Baldassare video on the manufacture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtquFUM51Ss
However you feel about him, the video is well worth watching.

That Pano Reserve is amazing.
Fantastic piece sir. I spent ages weighing up which of the two to go for. Wound up going with the Lunar because of the moon phase complication, which none of my other watches have. Thought it'd be a good addition to my modest lot.
As a side note:
I put down a deposit for an IWC whilst there too
IW500705. Portuguese 7day on a white dial, blue hands/markers.
This watch lark is an expensivecommitment addiction.

Lovely! I was thinking an S100 which that looks remarkably like to my untrained eye, but I thought the S100 had a bracelet that was essentially unreplaceable?
My one is a T200, it's stainless, but still very light. Looking at the s100, I would say it's the same as mine, it looks like a standard bracelet so you'll have lugs left if you want to put a strap on it.Editing to add.... it looks like you are correct, there was one for sale on Watchuseek and the strap appears to be a special one for that watch.

Ah, thanks.
Yours does look good on both options.
I'm not that good at taking pictures of them, and they really don't show how well the watch is finished and how the markers float above the dial. There's a thread dedicated to the various models on Watchuseek and some of the photos really do them justice.Yours does look good on both options.
I know they are not that cheap for a quartz Casio, but they really do punch above their weight.

For me that's quite appealing; in a top-trumps sense they don't score well, but appreciated as the things they are... The Seiko and Citizen are similar. Brands mostly (yes, there's Grand Seiko which is reasonably well known) associated with decent but low cost, much as Casio are. Then they go and make something a bit fancy, but most people will never notice.I'm probably overthinking it as usual.

Just arrived today; you'll all hate it. JDM The Citizen, washi paper dial, titanium, eco drive with non-hacking hour and perpetual calendar, accurate to ±5 seconds per year so my first HAQ. Lots of lovely little touches like the hands being polished on one side of the lume, brushed on the other, and the indices and eagle logo floating above the dial.
Seriously? Why are you posting that piece of tat in the Rolex appreciation thread?! It's probably not even made in Switzerland and I very much doubt it it has an in house movement. It's not a highly exclusive investment grade piece, that's for sure. I bet you even know your AD's wife's dog's name! I really like that and here's a crap photo of mine.
