The RG Sky Dweller is without doubt just stunning, probably my favourite release for 2023. I just wish I had a lifestyle that allowed me to fully utilise a watch like that lol. If I had one I suspect it would spend 99% of its life in a security box which would be such a waste of money.
I am trying to justify this watch at the moment by thinking 'it's just as risky to wear a steel Rolex as a gold one'.The first mark or scratch is always painful but gets it over and done with...

I don't know....you seem to get your hands on most of the hard to obtain!
I am going to request the Bubble 41 and the 41 RG skydweller with the blue green face...I just can't stop looking at the screenshots I have of them.
Fingers crossed!
That RG Skydweller with the blue green dial is the one I’d get if I won the lottery. I think it looks great. I am going to request the Bubble 41 and the 41 RG skydweller with the blue green face...I just can't stop looking at the screenshots I have of them.
Fingers crossed!
Hope you don’t have to wait too long!

TBF, and nothing to do with you, it had rather lost its way.
If only we knew what a real hyped up bubble looked like at the start of the thread 3.5 years agoAnyway back to this topic ... new YM looks great, the rest are not on my radar. Daytona prices now gone up again ... RG Oysterflex now £27k ... from £25k which was £22k a few years earlier so has got me looking at other options for a RG watch

IMO, the RG is worth stumping up the extra cash; the day you collect the thoughts about the price increase will vanish.Anyway back to this topic ... new YM looks great, the rest are not on my radar. If possible, never compromise...it usually leads to regret.

Popped into the local AD today for a chat. They're saying the titanium YM is going to be exceptionally hard to get hold of, where they'll get one or two over the next couple of years to the point where they'll see more units of the various diamond encrusted models than the YM.
Great looking watch, but I had a yellow faced ti breitling M1 many years ago and never bonded with the feel of it.Just too light, didn't feel substantial and put me off titanium watches for good.

Seconded, I really wanted a Grand Seiko SBGA031 but it just felt too unsubstantial on the wrist, despite the size. Lovely looking thing though!Just too light, didn't feel substantial and put me off titanium watches for good.

When you say Daytona prices gone up again are you referring to RRP or grey? Not so sure about grey, chancers on chrono will always try for it but watchcollecting shows sold price and haven't seen any sold since the announcement. Suspect sold price will not be overly different given the way the used market has collapsed over the last year.Anyway back to this topic ... new YM looks great, the rest are not on my radar. RRP, I don't generally keep track of grey prices unless I'm selling something. Sometimes I'll spot a watch on chrono24 and first thing that comes to mind is 'how fking much'?!RobbieTheTruth said:

I enjoyed engaging with people whom were genuinely interested or had watches, a bit like groundhog day with others who offered nothing but glib comments or disected and changed wording in posts to fit whatever their narrative was.
If that bothers you enough to dissect a paragraph into two words; great.
It would be handy if this thread wasn't ruined like the other cesspit of a thread thats full of utter walts that post nothing about the topic.

All the other lies about buying a Rolex every 8 weeks or whatever pale into insignificance after those beauties.

Sure did, because when I am in there i have a blether over a cuppy whilst picking up the latest Rolex they have offered me, usually every 8 weeks or so.

Which other brands do you buy?If that bothers you enough to dissect a paragraph into two words; great.

Unlike on the other thread, what they are or maybe worth isn't of interest to myself, so that's not a factor.
When the bubble bursts, it won't change things for me, its now an expensive hobby but they get worn rather than stored.
