42 year old man with his name down for it.
I'd have one and I'm older than you but the AD is already making all the wrong noises. I don't think I'll get one and I suspect it won't be in production for long.
  1. Me too...

Luckily for me I have a Submariner, Yachtmaster, Grape Perpetual, Light Blue (Tiffany) Perpetual , and DeepSea with the same dealer before all the crazy kicked off plus a few other makes from the same chain.

Also luckily for me where I live everyone just will think they are copies so no worries about wearing them!

Sony phone no doubt going nuts with colour saturation or something! That or yours is worth a ton now, I remember reading a while back that faded seamaster bezel watches we're in demand and changing hands for silly money.

The Daytona is the only watch I no longer have.

I have big wrists and it looked a bit small on me; persevered for a while but just didn't gell with it.

All excited for tomorrow after seeing your picture...I can picture the huge smile you had when you took that shot of the watch!
Ah interesting, yeah tbh the Daytona doesn't get much wrist time for me too, it's just so small! Plus when it comes to a chrono I much prefer the 321 steel speedmaster. It's still small but doesn't feel as tiny as the daytona.

Huge grins definitely the order of the day, send a photo of yours when you collect tomorrow! I've still not rotated out of it to any of my others since Thursday so it's definitely a contender. If I could only keep 2 watches, this and the 321 would be the ones, only 1? You'd have to put a gun to my head and even then I'm still not sure I could choose between them.
Happy Easter! cloud9

Turns out as its my Birthday in 4 weeks they thought this would be a nice early surprise, which was a really nice touch.party

We have been booked in for the 24th as that's when when the new release watches can be put on your request list.

As others have mentioned, the Celebration OP is expected to be in very short numbers and deemed as a 'celebration' of the colours which are anticipated to all be discontinued.

Have you had your BLNR off your wrist yet?!

I'm now not allowed to wear this until it is my birthday....grumpy

Hi!

Ha, no I think you phone might have done it’s thing to make the most of the colour!

These ceramic bezels aren’t going to change but people love the ghost or fuschia bezels on pre ceramic Pepsis, I prefer them not to be faded to oblivion!

Congratulations. And I do love Gleneagles. My neighbour had us at his daughters wedding there last year. Paid for all 64 guests to stay for the weekend as well.
It’s one of thee best hotels in Scotland/Britain for service.

Hah, took it off today and put on the g shock to do some gardening, I know it's a tool watch but not going to do stuff with it yet that'll bugger it up! Swapped back into it once done though of course XD.

Yeah, 24th too, I'm considering putting myself down for a titanium ym. Ops aren't really my thing. Apparently wosg are moving existing Daytona list people to automatically be transferred to the new Daytona list which is a new thing to me.

Waiting for your birthday is going to be a killer!

Yep and then the cost of the wedding in the hotel on top.
Had a look in the Rolex shop at the time but it was more or less empty.

Will be putting my name down for:

1908
Ti Yacht
Plat Daytona

And will actively pursue completing the off catalogue DD36 puzzle set.

Rolex had some really good releases this year imo, first time I have actually wanted to go after some in a long while.

Nice selection.

I was told yesterday there won't even be a list for the puzzle Daydate, and if they were extremely lucky they might receive only one.

They shall be so few in numbers that once the groups, ie WOS, get told how many they are likely to be allocated, the Area Managers shall submit one or maybe 2 names and then it gets decided elsewhere*.

Thanks Deep. beer

If I was being picky, I would of had it on a Jubilee bracelet, but as you say still lovely on the Oyster.
