Is there really much interest in these?

I walked past the Covent Garden store today and some people lining up and security on the door. I was going to see if they had any stock but felt embarrassed to stand in a line outside Swatch hehe I still find it a bit mental that people are queueing to get into Swatch.

I don't see the BPs taking off like the MoonSwatch

The brand is not recognisable to the "Insta" people and the watch nerds will want the real thing

I think one of the selling points of the original is the huge ceramic bezel and the material. The design itself is a bit clunky.
It's like having a huge Chesterfield sofa but upholstered in paper

For anybody interested Battersea had a few of these in stock earlier today - I'd just missed the Atlantic, but they had Indian and Pacific.

On the Omega front they had all of them except Uranus, Mercury and Moon. I think that, finally, Moonswatches are almost able to satisfy demand and the BP demand is already waning quite quickly.

Thanks, I've got some London trips coming up, so I can detour through there and hopefully bag one...

Battersea has always seemed the best bet of the London stores to me - it's relatively quiet over there during the week.

I'm not really after a BP as I'm not a fan, but I might wear the Atlantic so was interested to see what they had. Stock arrives pretty much at random, apparently.

Went to play golf with a mate last night and he had one on… the orange one.

He’d bought it in Amsterdam last weekend.

Looked ok… he’s pretty tanned (we live in southern Spain), and the orange really suited him. I’d have the blue one, but would need to go on a rubber strap NATO’s are st whatever watch they are fitted to.

Went to the Swatch Store in Basel yesterday, they had no BP FF, but all MoonSwatches except Neptune, which is the only one I still want to get.

Had a look and decided that I want the blue Atlantic and not the white/grey Antarctic I initially wanted. Let's see what I get... But the others I have no interest in buying.

Picked up an Indian Ocean today in the Orlando store (Florida mall)

They had all the colours but only the orange one to try on.

Really liked the look and feel of them - certainly one I wasn’t going to pass up as I’ve been really taken with the green since seeing a YT reveal of them shortly after release.

I’m in New York in just over a week so was going to pop in there and see if they had them.

Think I prefer the Spinnaker for a bit of fun:

Don’t really get it? All I can see on that link is a watch face with a load of emoji ghosts on it.

If it’s a Fifty Fathoms copy, I also don’t really get it. The reason most people are buying the Swatch Colabs is due to the branding rather than specifically what the watch looks like. There’s probably thousands of Blancpain look-a-likes out there….

The black and grey were released for Halloween but they're collab with Seconde Seconde, who is a sort of Pop Art watch modder. They're a bit of fun... and more fun than these I'd say. Can only buy the blue one now.

You know what, I saw that and thought it looked pretty fun but didn't make the connection to Blancpain.

I honestly love it... Am I going to wear it to dinner at Locatelli with one of my supermodel dates? Probably not. But I wouldn't the Swatch either!

I picked up my MoonSwatch at the Oculus Swatch store with ease and have used that store many times since it opened and the staff are always great - it’s much better than the Times Square and 5th Ave stores IMO

And why not? I wouldn‘t wear it in any formal circumstance, but I have no problem wearing an inexpensive watch to my regular dinners at Locatelli with my supermodel dates.
The woman I (used to) date are not impressed by an expensive watch.

You don't consider that a formal circumstance? You think it's inexpensive? Get you, Jimmy Rothschild!

First chance to wear the Indian Ocean today - and I have to admit it, I really like it on.

I really do dislike NATO straps though, so have ordered a suitable green rubber strap and will swap them when that arrives.
