Hello all,

Have acquired a couple of pocket watches. I’m not expecting them to be valuable, but I’m interested in what there are.

First, this one. It runs, but I don’t know how accurately yet.

Face says Swiss made. The case says “keystone watch case USA”. There’s a serial number on the case.
Some markings/damage on the face.

I’ve not had it apart to look at the movement.

Second is marked S. Wolfenden Bolton

Doesn’t run (doesn’t wind). Looks like it’s lost a hand.
Nothing on the back. Again, haven’t got to the movement (not sure I know how)

A brief google suggests 1890-1910 ish?

Pop the backs off and have a look, I've got a pocket watch of my great granddads, circa 1910 turns out its a "Dollar watch" which is worth bugger all and has a "Foreign" movement in it which means its probably German.

Try asking here:

Do not ask about value. You'll need to post good clear movement pictures.

Back is off the first one;

Record 15 jewel movement. Swiss. No serial numbers (which I think is normal if it’s Swiss)

Interesting. I suspect not rare.
I’ll get it serviced and wear it to weddings.
