How about a Tissot touch connect solar?

https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-gb/t1214204705100...

Analogue plus colour display. Barometer, compass and connects to your phone.

They tend to sell lightly used for £4-500 on Ebay.

I want one!

If you don't mind used, the Tag Microtimer is very nice. Chrono 24 link

That has just reminded me that Nike do a watch that looks almost identical to this tag.

Lovely watches but the only thing I think detracts from it (and the Omega and Dunhill that use the same module) is the lack of a second hand.

That’s one of the things I like about it. The second tick of quartz movements irritates me.

Breitling also modified this module quite quickly (themocompensated, larger display) but there are a number of brands who used a similar ETA module.

The nice thing about the Aerospace is the timing bezel which no one else did.

IMO what sets the Aerospace apart from any recommendation that doesn’t use the same or a similar module is the single crown operation.

Another option is the Hamilton psr.

I was gifted one of these yesterday.
The original digital watch I believe.
I love it.

Full metal GShock.

Celebrate the Casio-ness!

I got one of these precisely to be a high end Japan-made digital watch.

Omega X-33 would be my choice. I really like them, just need an excuse to buy one.

If the OP likes the older style LCD displays along with an analogue face there is a Breitling Jupiter on the bay of dreams at the moment.

I love my Hamilton PSR. The Bulova is also interesting and worth checking out.

Thinking of getting the Tissot PRX digital next.
Really got the retro digital bug, sorry I missed out on the Casiotron.

Beautiful watch, I used to have two.

But the reason I had two is that they scratch so easily and are a pain to polish. One was for very very very best (I still have this and rarely wear it) the other was for wearing (my mate desperately wanted one and couldn’t find one so I gave him my beater).

As long as you know what you are getting then you will love it. But if you think you will be able to wear it all the time I would honestly look elsewhere.

I tried one on once - the watch is nigh on two centimetres thick - it was like hanging a large pebble on your wrist.
