Was going to buy an IWC Spitfire but then, through this site, have seen the above. My needs are simple; with changing eyesight I now need a 6ft long arm to read the time at night, so need a big legible watch. My Breitling Navigator I've given to my son in law and the Superocean will shortly appear on Ebay I reckon. These other makes seem as good as the IWC yet at a very reasonable price. Opinions? I'd like to hear from you owners.

I've not heard much at all bad about Sinn and O&W. My understanding is that they use good quality, standard Valjoux/ETA etc. movements and their watches are nicely designed and well built and finished.

As far as I can tell from what I've been reading, there is little between the two brands in terms of the quality of the item you get for your money.

Sorry Dominic - standard black face. Still under guarantee (replaced after a burglary) and a steelfish model with steel bracelet.
