The speedy pro is a great watch, but not a watch you can wear everywhere. If you really need a watch to wear swimming, sell the speedy and buy a used seamaster. The clue is in the name! It should work out as a straight swap. Alternatively, get a cheap diving watch for use specifically when swimming and use the speedy for everything else. Any watch used in water should be pressure tested once a year, even professional divers watches. 12 year old rubber seals are quite likely to leak on any watch.

That brings me onto another matter if the Speedmaster Pro was a car what would it be? Porsche 911 2.7 RS Lightweight or a Mercedes 300SE 5.9?
Neither.....more like an old indestructable 60's Land-Rover with a leaky windscreen.....hehe

Have sent watch to Chris Heal so job done. Uktrailmonster - I couldn't possibly sell my Speedmaster (too sentimental, significant acheivement etc) so I will stick to swimming with my Casio - 200 metre so just about right for a swimming pool!

Aeropilot more like an early Range Rover with vinyl seats!
