Nothing has a similar depth rating to a DSSD!!! the Britling is 300m the DSSD 3900m !!!
You mean except for the watch on my wrist right now? Sinn UX.... or even the old B&R Hydromax Blows all those watches away with its 5,000m ratingalanm_3 said:

Think the clue is in the 'no date' part....
Just pointing out the obvious flaw in the comment Anyway, I'm interested in the answer about a pressure point. My knowledge of physics wasn't enough to consider it!

It would, at extreme pressure, create a point load on the crystal.
If the cyclops is just stuck on and the underside of the glass is uniform ... Will have zero impact on the water pressure loading on the crystal. It wouldn't increase or decrease any loading

Or even better still, the Hydromax has a rating of 11100m!!!!!
i think if you google a bit more you will find that the movement will give up the ghost at 5,000m but the case will withstand 11k. The same goes with the Sinn, but Sinn chose not to use a figure which could be disputed. i.e. whats the point in marketing 11k when blatantly the watch wont work past 5. Still amazing numbers all the same.I tried to find a Hydromax in white before i bought the UX but they are rare from what I could see.

Had a look at the new model in Selfridge's yesterday, amazed to see one just sat there in the display. Nice watch that sits quite comfortably and once I'd got over the tiny date window it was a change from the cyclops.
Just a bit chunkier than the Pepsi I was wearing but not too big, was very tempted but not at RRP.

Watchfinder will offer you a good deal
You're having a laugh. What do you mean by "good deal"?!yeti said:
I have had 5 great deals from them in a row on watches that are going to be keepers within my collection, paying what you'd expect privately but with dealer prep and warranty. I'd recommend them too
Don't get me wrong, I recommend them too. But I would not go as far as saying you would get a great deal, at least nor financially compared to other places. Are my eyes a bit funny or does the DSSD not have an anti reflective coating? Only just noticed this morning as it's the first time I've worn it since getting it(and peeling all the little protective plastic bits off!) as I didn't want to scratch it up too quickly while helping my mum move
