I got 450 euros off mine on the champs elysses in Paris. I also got a discount on the tag monaco and 500 euro off the panerai. If youre there to buy make it clear.

I pretty much try and play hardball with the dealers, some will buckle, others will frown and patronisngly tell you that their product doesn't need to be discounted to sell.

I believe they retail for about 1875 at present. I would try people at about 1500, you might be surprised how you get on.

The planet ocean is available in most jewellers so you shouldn't have a problem.

I think the price rose in May from 1850 to 2000.

I'm buying the same watch this week...but with white numbers. 10% seems to go without saying, so more should be achievable.

I've recently ordered myself an Omega De Ville Hour Vision. I saw and selected the watch whilst browing in Bond Street where the listed price was £3175, both in the Swiss watch place and the Omega shop.

I had a search around on line and saw sites selling it for £2650 'ish and was tempted.

Then, a friend of a friend of a friend who works in a jewellers said they could get it for me at staff price.... £2200.

I should get it early next week as it's ready to be collected now biggrin

Now THAT is a discount and gives you an idea how much mark up there is on this stuff as the jewellers are still making money on it!

So looking forward to getting it, it looked absolutely stunning in the shop when I tried it on.

That's the boat I'm in. Mate gets 30% off, so the £2,000 PO drops to £1,400, which is a reasonable drop in my book...

Perhaps I should buy 10!

Which version, the large or regular, strap or bracelet? Do you know the Omega ref?

Was looking at them in the various jewellers around the Lakeside Shopping Mall on the weekend. Noticed the large and small non-chrono, bracelet versions carry the same £2000 sticker price, which seems a bit strange.

Beautiful watch though, makes the regular (beautiful) Seamaster Pro seem a bit dainty.

I bought a 45m black face, orange arabics, bracelet at mappin and webb in gleneagles for 1600 with a bit of haggling. they also organised through watches of switzerland in glasgow for my rolex gmt master to have the pepsi bezel replaced and the watch to have a good polish as part of the transaction. i

+1 vote for Dominic. Sorted me out a treat with my Speedmaster, and did the same for a colleague who wanted a PO very similar to yours.

Give them a call, you'll need to add shipping, VAT and duty. Make sure the watch is sold with a MANUFACTURE/FACTORY warranty, a lot aren't.....

I've seen your name referenced a few times. Can you source me an Omega Speedmaster Broadarrow in the rose with brown strap? Perhaps you could PM me if you'd prefer? Many thanks!
