What do people think of this watch?

http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/watch.asp?productid=4...

Thinking of getting one, however trying to find places to buy them. Found the above website (and few other internet ones) and Goldsmiths. Would prefer a physical shop as they will size it for you. Anyone know of any other dealers in the Birmingham area?

Not bad, but I think I'd rather have an Omega Seamaster Chrono.

I saw one a while ago in a jewellers abroad....

My first impression was 'bloody hell thats thick'

Getting on for 1cm thick would be my guess

Probably more than that - 14mm is not unusual for a 7750 based watch.

Goldsmiths are a good bet as they have at least one outlet shop which will give a good discount on RRP on watches that they have in stock. It can be a bit hit and miss re what they have in .

I like it. Especially the offset winder thingy, what is it, a release valve?

I think it's a great watch and leaves any Omega for dead (sorry... and I own an Omega!)

My understanding is that Jura will do the sizing for you online, you just have to measure your own wrist. They also have a store in London where you can go and put eyes on any watch. Not sure if they are in Birmingham just yet though.
