I was sick of the bracelet on my Speedy Pro so thought I'd experiment with straps. I'm trying something a little different at the minute with a Hirsch Rally in golden brown. I didn't really expect to like it and was planning on getting a black Professional since it's pretty much the same as the proper Omega strap, but I'm surprised how much the Rally has grown on me. It really makes the watch stand out rather than blend in with the bracelet.

My photography skills are rubbish so it looks a bit more orangey here than in real life.

At some point in the future I want to get one of those in orange for my Suunto Core black/orange. The straps on the Suuntos look and feel like something that came out of a cereal packet! I got an orange nato strap for it, but it really doesn't work with the lug arrangement. It makes the watch stick up off the wrist funny.

Completely broke at the minute though so it's going to have to wait. frown

You can see the difference in the way the watch sits with the different straps here. I've just put the original strap back on and to be honest, it's grown on me since I removed it. Although that could be the pleasure of having the watch fit and sit right overriding the displeasure of the quality of the strap.

Ah, I can see why it's doing it.
