Invicta 2625 russian diver...
Discussion
Hello there everyone,
I'm graduating (touch wood:P) soon and fancy the idea of a nice watch for my graduation present, this while knowing that I am the one who should be buying my father a present after putting me though uni for the past 4 years haha, ah well I will be buying him a 911 one day.
Anyway back to the point, i have been looking arond and i really like these U-Boat style watches but couldn't justify spending over a grand for a watch that has little to no real history. I found one of these http://www.invictawatch.com/reviews/RussianDiver/i... for around $500 and i think they are pretty damn funky, plus they seem to have a better movment then the U-Boat watches and more of a history/quirky factor
Just wondering what you guys thought about the watch and if you have heard any horror storys about the brand?
This will be my first ''propper'' manual watch and intend it to last as i said before, it will be my graduation present and would like to pass it down
Thanks everyone, hope your having a nice day,
Pino

To be completely honest, it's not my cup of tea BUT you like it and when it comes to watches, that's ultimately the most important thing. I do agree with you that spending big money on a brand like U Boat really doesn't make sense so if you can buy a watch that looks similar for a lot less money, it's the smart thing to do.

Invicta watches are very cheap on Amazon, this one isn't exactly the same but it's far cheaper http://www.amazon.co.uk/Invicta-Russian-7002-Unise...
