I Came across the Christopher Ward website some months ago and then after thinking about getting a new watch found this forum.
Has anybody owned or own one of thease paticular watches? Are the auto movements going to last, straps durable?
Thanks Rich

I've got a C8 Pilot automatic, and it's very nicely assembled, with a decent strap. It comes well-presented in a posh box and everyfink.

I wear it lots.

+1

I have mine on this very minute! biggrin

The C8 and C15 both use the ETA 2824-2 Movement, which is know to be a very reliable workhorse.

So I would buy one with confidence!! thumbup

I've just had to return my C7 as it was damaged, and misaligned. People have had similar issues, so I'd hold fire for a few weeks/months until they start to use QC again. It seems it went out the window for Xmas.

Lovely watch though aside from that, and I'll get another when they resolve issues.

Bought a C7 Rapide about a month ago... it knocked a reasonable TAG off my wrist and has stayed there ever since. Actually prefer it to the TAG and it's caused a few questions as to "nice watch, what is it ?".... me personally thinks they're pretty classy.

Toaday, now having bought a watch from CW, got an early warning e-mail about their New Year sale (starts Thurs to the uninitiated) of previously "used" watches from press/photography shennanigans at v. nice discounts. As a result - interest registered for a C5 at c30% off their list... fingers crossed bounce.
