Hi All,
Long time lurker on PH - just joined up today and thought I'd seek advice from the watch forum...
I've recently purchased a Tag Carrera which is going back to the shop (faulty Chronograph, this is the second faulty one!) and so I quite fancy an Omega.
I can't decide between:
'Bond' Chrono:
OR
Planet Ocean:
Any thoughts/opinions in making the decision will be much appreciated, virtual card's behind the bar and all that...!
Ta.

I'd try them on, I love the look of the PO but when I tried one on it didn't 'feel' as good as the price tag would suggest. The bracelets on both of those models left me wondering what all the fuss was about.
Saying that the only Omega that even slightly interested me after trying on a few was the speedy pro.

As a comment I wonder if the orange dial is a passing phase and will look terribly dated in a few years? Personally I'd play safe with stainless and black dial. If only someone hadn't put up the new IWC heritage aquatimer too I'd be happy with what I've got!
If, in a year or two's time, I'm bored of the orange bezel, I'll just bung a black one on.I agree about all that is said about the fussiness of the Seamaster Chrono. For similar effect, I'd be after a Breitling Chrono. Evo.
I love the PO, in all its orange glory. With the orange leather strap, if the truth be told. It's just too big. So, my money, if I'm to remain in the Omega camp, would be the new black-dial 007 Seamaster pro (ltd to 10,007 pieces).

Both would be a great watch I'm sure but for me I think the seamaster is fussy as mentioned and neither of them really go past being great watches.
I'd got for a speed pro, in fact I have!!!
I honestly think its not just a great watch but its got a timeless look thatll never go in and out of fashion.
Plus it transcends a mere watch with the NASA history behind it.

Seamaster Pro everytime, I love my Ti.
I had a steel chronometer for 9 years before I added the 'graph to the collection. It sits in the winder and has lost a two and half minutes since summer 2007 when it came back from its first service. So not bad.
Note to self: must wear the 'meter occasionally.
