Seen these on TZ-UK( another one that would love to join when its opened again) and they do look fantastic with everyone raving about them but was curious about everyday use. Im basically looking for a good watch that keeps good time that looks simple and clean. The Sinn range, an older quartz Seamaster and possibly a moon speedmaster are also on my list but Sinn's and Speedbirds cant be seen, tried or easily found so its based on others experiances.
The Speedbirds bracelet is supposed to be great and comfy but whats it like for keeping time? Is the reason everyone loves them because of the price or are they genuinely a good solid watch?
I dont expect Rolex build quality or IWC finesse but it would be nice wink
Any opinions would be great

I can't comment specifically on the SB3, but I have had half a dozen of Eddie's watches, and they are all very good quality, at a good price. The amount of raving about the SB3 suggests it is one of his best.

It will be as accurate as the standard ETA 2824 movement in the watch i.e should be better than 15 secs per day once it is bedded in, and can easily achieve better (all of my 2824 based watches are within 7-8 secs per day).

I've got a Speedbird III and the quality is right up there with my Omega's - especially the bracelet. I bought and use mine as a dress watch so cant comment on daily wearability but I cant imagine there being any problems at all. Superb watch for the price.

Not got one, but they look superb for the money. The bracelet alone looks like it's worth £200

Have you had any contact with Neil about his watches?

When I spoke to him, he said if I wasn't happy with the watch, or it wasn't what I was after, I could just send it back and he would give me a full refund. Obviously I would have to cover the postage to send it back to him.

I think it's about £6-10 for the postage, but it's unlikely that you'll want to send it backbiggrin
