Please help...I am prepared to spend circa £5k. I have an Omega Seamaster as a daily wear so would like something of a different ilk...

Leather strap, cream face appeals

JLC and Panerai have come to mind so far, any more unusual suggestions?

For me, either the IWC 7 day above or the JLC, both excellent pieces. The JLC wins it for me.

How about a Bremont ALT1-C and leave some wedge in the bank.

Specialness! A rather amazing watch you have there Asterix thumbup I think I'd look at one of those if I had a spare £5K! Alternatively the IWC Aquatimer would be on my list too smile

How about the IWC vintage aquatimer? Love the way it looks and at a push you may get it for 5k.
