I have too many watches:

(click for bigger)

(Tag) Heuer Monza (Tag) Heuer Carrera Tag Heuer Monaco Baum & Mercier Capeland JLC Reverso Duo Cartier Tank Americaine YG
IWC Portuguese Panerai PAM164 Breitling Montbrillant Datora Zenith El Primero
Girard Perregaux Traveller II Chopard Mille Miglia 98 Rolex Submariner Omega Flightmaster Rolex Oysterdate Rolex Daytona

I find I'm mostly wearing the Panny, with the IWC for smart & formal. Which of the others do you think would sell for sensible money, where would you sell them, and for how much? Is now a bad time to be selling?

That's a serious collection. I wouldn't like to sell any of them, but that's not helping. I would keep the pany, iwc and definitely the JLC reverso. I think that the Omega will sell well, try TZ for most of them.

Beautiful collection smile

Do you really need the money? If so fair dues, but I have learnt the hard way that it's so easy to sell something and then think a year down the line "now where did that money go" my suggestion would be to keep them all if you think that you would not use the money for anything that will give you a greater sense of happiness. I know the answer is a bit girly but just don't do anything you may regret.

Those Flightmasters aren't much cop. I'll take it off you for £50 to free up some space in your case wink

I'd agree with that list, but that's becasue I've never been keen on TAG or Breitling and the Daytona needs to go NOW, they're no longer as desirable as they were and will only go down in value from here.

I closely agree with this assessment, but I'd keep the daytona, dump the oysterdate. Also I'm a PAM guy so that is an absolute must keep. Dump the Cartier.

That's all she wrote!

Not need as such, although there's always something else to spend it on. I can't see the point in having however little it turns out to be tied up in watches I'm not wearing. I used to have a rotation a couple of years ago, but now I basically wear the Panny as a beater, and alternate the Portuguese and the Flightmaster.

I may at least sell some to buy a 5296G.
