Slightly O/T but I was in Vegas the other week and had a look in the Watch Boutique at the MGM Grand. They had a brand new SeaDweller in stock and the sales person was offering 10% discount straight away.

Just thought I'd mention it (despite the pants f/x rate) as I know there are lots of fans of the SD on here.

I'm also heading to vegas in a couple of week's time and would welcome any recommendations of watch shops/boutiques.

Unlikely I'll purchase, SWMBO might though. And it'd be nice to try some things on I've not seen before.

Tourneau in Caesars - apparantly the largest watch shop in the states. Huge collection including Rolex, Tag, Omega, IWC, Jaeger, Hamilton, etc etc etc etc. Seemed quite happy to let me try just about anything on even after I said I was only looking. Willing to talk discounts too.....

Forget the other shop in Caesars - not a patch on what it used to be like. I imagine Tourneau have given them a good kcking.

Also try Horologio in the Venetian. I bought a Glycine from there, got a big discount without even trying. Lots of nice brands too.

I disagree about forgetting the other shops in Caesar's. With the current economic climate in the US, I have found that the smaller shops are actually more willing to negotiate on their prices. Also, their service is better. The workers at Tourneau are often rude in my experience.

Same for me. I found Tourneau was a bit sparse on the stock I was interested in, despite being HUGE!! The little one across the way, (Roman Times?), was less than a 10th of the size, yet was CRAMMED with absolutely wonderful pieces.

Didn't buy anything in either store though! frown

I think you're right with Roman Times. That place was very nice.
