My 8 year old Seiko kinetic is starting to get tired, so im feeling its time to get a new every day watch.

Ive had a look through various websites at Seikos, but im just not seeing anything i like. Ive got about £100 to spend.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Buy another Seiko - they are the best watches in the world in that price bracket.

Defo Seiko.

Could try something from Werners, of course.

I had one for about 7 months and it was a very comfortable, light-weight watch that took knocks and scrapes well! I quite liked the gold highlights on the black face ... Personally the colour combination looks much better in reality rather than the computer generated shots smile

Looks great - I'm a fan of Werners, Nick seems to have some great quality watches for the price.....

Not tried Estana but suspect you'll be pleased for the price. Not a fan of bright faces, myself, though.

i had a look at the rotary last night and the build quality is crap, also had a look at the titanium seikos and found them to be a bit light, so im now going to look for a Seiko Stainless kinetic Chrono. Anyone recommend me one?

On car-related PH fora, the answer is generally "You want an MX-5".

Here on the Watches forum, the equivalent answer is "You want a Seiko Orange Monster".

Free Googling lesson, with apologies if I am teaching you stuff you already know...

If you type in:

seiko orange monster site:.uk

you will get listings for .uk domain sites with any of the words seiko or orange or monster.

If you key in:

"seiko orange monster" site:.uk

you will get listings for .uk domain sites with the phrase seiko orange monster.

Happy hunting.
