Hi as the topic states i have just bought an omega geneve i have no paper work with it or box and i know nothing about this watch,
i would be interested to find out if its water proof if so up to what depth, whats the power reserve.
I also would like to get it serviced and a new glass fitted where should i go for that.
The watch was not expensive but i have to say iv really taken to it for a daily watch.
Any help would be great.

Pictures please!

Then, gather the case and movement numbers (inside caseback and stamped on the movement) and plug them into this:

http://www.omegawatches.com/cu_vintage/

And it'll tell you things.

Not waterproof at all, in the way that you mean, even if its been freshly sealed. When new it was probably rated at 30 meters, which is splashproof.

Pictures or the case reference number (found inside the caseback) will help.

Yes, Google the case reference (Omega 166.099) and then spend the rest of the day trawling through Bob Frei's site. Crowns, crystals, hands, bracelets.....
