Sorry, know nowt about 'em except they're bloody expensive. However, each time I see them on my trips to Singapore I like them more and more.

I've got a Franck Muller Casablanca 8885 C CC DT - polished steel, on black rubber (and I currently have it on a Toshi brown leather strap).

I'd previously always though these watches a bit 'shouty' and 'footballerish'. And indeed some of the range are.

However, when I went to try them on, I was impressed with the quality and the fact that some of the models are more subtle looking. But be in no doubt, given the size these are still a 'statement' watch (whether people know what they're looking at or not).

I think my (extremely kind and generous!) wife got mine from Watches of Switzerland on Old Bond Street in London. - this is certainly where I tried them on.

I have been tempted by a FM Crazy Hours in the past - but I know it is really a novelty watch, albeit a clever one.

Have owned a couple ...my advice is buy second had as i have never owned a watch that depreciates as much as a FM, unless you have very deep pockets...

Yeah, this is me, too. I was tempted in a theoretical sense - I can't afford one - but I was tempted, nonetheless. Very clever.

But then I realise that I don't like how it looks, at all.

You sure it was a legit one? There's a massive trade in knock-off crazy hours using chinese movements. One of many listing FM replicas (I do not endorse that site btw, I think all replicas are shonky pikey horribleness, personally)

It might have been a Conquistador but they tended to be ladies models.

Blowers have a few floating around and they're a good indication of S/H pricing on legit models: Blowers

Wow, those prices are insane for knock-offs. you can get those for $30 US for quartz or $50 for automatics in New York in Chinatown.
