This turned up today....
It was a pic tertius posted up of his that got me looking and I've wanted one ever since. I have to say, I'm over the moon with it. Stunning looking watch. I had one on order from Stowa but an email turned up last week from someone on TZ-UK who was thinking of selling theirs. I couldn't resist!
A couple more photos (my camera skills are rubbish so apologies for the standard of pics!)

Lovely, well done. I bought one of these from Stowa last year and whilst it doesn't get a lot of wrist time, I enjoy it hugely when it does.
It looks very good on a crocodile/alligator strap by the way.
Do you mind telling me what you paid for it? PM if you don't want to share on a public forum.

I held off getting one as it isn't the type of watch I usually wear. Loved it in all the pics I'd seen but was unsure what I would think of it when I finally saw it. I can safely say, it's easily passed my expectations of it. When those blued hands catch the light they look stunning. Mrs Hovis isn't so keen, she commented 'its a like something an old man would wear'. However, she's a handbag collector ffs, so what does she know

Haha identical situation to me. Im not sure what i would think once i've got the watch. Pictures are good, but can never really show the watch off to its full potential.Ive showed a few work colleagues and that was their opinion too " A bit old for you isn't it". Especially because simple "classy" watches like that arent what i usually go for. I like my watches quite busy on the face, but the MO has really hit me as a VERY good watch at a good price. I might well be emailing tomorrow to order one.
Im guessing it will be November now until i get it delivered

I love these Stowa's but I looked at the site and there is no mention of whether the watch is at all waterproof. I'm a forgetful oaf and am more than likely to find that I'm wearing it in the shower. What's the position here?
I've always assumed that it isn't and don't wear it in the shower. Apart from anything else, leather straps rot like hell once you get them wet. Stowa do a lovely diver though. In fact, there's not much in the range that I wouldn't consider. I'd quite like one of their Fliegers next, but I'd need to sell my MO first.
Please stop the madness - now I'm in love with the Antea Kliene Sekunde on mesh - what's going on?!

I hadn't been on the Stowa website for a little while, and didn't realise that they now do this.
I would also love one of their sportwatches, like the Seatime. It has a lovely retro feel to it, not unlike a Superocean Heritage. A bargain at €650 IMHO, particularly with the pound coming back a little against the Euro.

Does anywhere in the UK stock Stowa watches?
No, you need to order direct from Stowa.Having done so however, I can say that they are a great company to deal with. You can also find plenty of wrist shots of most models on the Watchuseek.com Stowa forum
