And because of this move by Panerai, I have decided to jump on a chance to obtain one of these 'homages'. I really like Panerai watches, but just can't justify the prices to myself. I do also adore Frank Mueller watches (crazy hours etc), so decided to order something like this:

So well done Panerai - if you hadn't have started this action, I wouldn't have got it (probably).
I know beauty is in the eye 'n all that but that is shocking.

Can I ask what you guys are finding so nasty about it? Not having a go, just interested! Is it the colours?

Or is it the fact it is now so obviously a fake?

As requested....

Lume shot:

First impressions are that it is very well put together, and as it is so obviously not the real thing, I'm not fussed about wearing it. However, I now find it hasn't scratched the Panerai itch.... oh dear. It's a bit of fun until then...

Not sure, I love the Crazy hours. Not a replica though, that's awful!

I think that looks pretty good Don. Obviously not a watch from either manufacturer but plays on both of their themes. Those 'in the know' would know what you've done..

Thanks for the pics.

Greg.

I think it's a bit odd that 4 numbers are in the right place when I would have thought it better to all of them in the wrong place?

The great thing about the Frank Muller fake is that it might actually put Frank Muller out of business. evil

Ihave to say, despite the fact I have some very nice watches, a Frank Mueller would be the jewel of my collection (until an Urwerk came along!)
