I'm not a fan of the neg display models either.

I've got one of these

https://www.watchshop.com/mens-casio-g-shock-milit...

and am wondering how difficult/expensive it would be to convert it to a postive display.

I've recently bought one of these too, I find the display ok in most lights but can be tricky sometimes. Other than that I love it, have a metal g shock too but this one is much lighter, more comfortable and I dont have to worry about scratching it up at work!

I Love the GD-400 series, and am looking at completing the series but there are a few with neg displays that i just know i'd never wear.

I think i will probably move the neg display one on at some point.

That looks great, I might get one as a "gym watch".

I just ordered this for daily use...

That's nice! Please can you tell me the model number. Thanks.

It’s part of the G Steel range, there’s a few different versions. Mine has a steel bracelet and negative displays.
The one with the leather strap is above is on offer for £215 at the moment. They also have it with rubber for £199.

It was on the Casio outlet also for £150 ... Not sure if it's now sold out though

Thank you. Just bought one. Hope it arrives when wife not in! The other versions look great but I decided to go with the positive display one. Negative displays look good in pictures but are useless in daylight. Thanks again.
Interesting that the 'Last one available' at £189 listing now says two available at £199. It's a funny world!

I love these gd-400's.

Simple, tough, rugged and easy to read. Everything a g-shock should be!

I just picked up a gd350 yesterday. It's a negative display but this one actually works. I like this more than I thought I would.

Popped into the G-Shock store on Carnaby Street London this week.

So much great stuff, lovely shop must say. Really set out nicely with a huge range.

Christmas shopping here I come...for me!

I like G-Shocks but this doesn't hit it for me. If people are prepared to spend that much on it then good luck to them. Personally, it looks cheap and I wouldn't give much more than 70 quid for it.

Mine arrived today. Really nice watch. It's bloody massive! Far too big, even for my thick wrists. Shame really as I like it. There's no way I could wear it without being self conscious. Am returning it. It's just daft.

How big are your wrists? Mine are about 9” and that’s the watch that fits me best!
It’s annoying because iTS the standard I set for other purchases, and am struggling to find others that suit me.
I got an SKX009 which I loved, but it looked ridiculously small on me. Everyone said get a Sumo instead, and that is just about ok. I ordered it online and was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t much different to the SKX.
I’m still struggling to find a big diver I like. Maybe I’ll have to stick to large G Shocks frown

Which bit is too big... the watch face or the strap!? Fits perfect for me, although I like a big chunky watch.
