Just bought this from HK. My first ever G-Shock Square. I've got loads of G's but never been a fan of the classic Squares. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I've got this one but with the red innerstrap (Gorillaz).

It's stopped clearing the stop watching and restarting. Is this a symptom of a worn battery?

The grey has what looks like red anodized metals...

Search for hbd-1000 on the g shock website!

How old is the watch? I usually get at least 3years out of the factory battery and depending on how good the replacement cell is, at least 2years from that.

There's not much that goes wrong with G's. I would get a battery cell of eBay and swap it yourself. Only cost a couple of £.

I bought it online from a UK seller last May. In the current climate I don't think I'd send it back Incase it never returns (small business). Sounds horrible saying this..

I had the black version of this but sent it back as it was illegible. Green version cropped up at £55 a while back and it's really grown on me.

I'm a little late to the party.
Never thought I would purchase a G-Shock but the lockdown got me looking at various different watches. I wasn't quite sure about the metal GShock initially as I've heard it's too big for smaller wrist.
I decided to take the plunge and see how it feels on my 6.25" wrist. TBH it just about wraps my wrist with some small gaps but still passable when sized properly. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it especially when it's quite loud and could be a fun watch to wear on the weekends.

Love it! It's not quite rose gold or yellow gold. I would say perhaps more of a tinted yellow gold?

Wears nice...not overly big and thin for a g shock.....I may have to add the yellow one.

Am liking the new sports range / G-Squad watches. Good comparison of the GBD-H1000 and GBD-100 at the link below

After being held in the air freight queue from HK, it's finally here. Took 3 weeks on what should have been a 3 day service.

Anyone ever used tictacarea.com?

Seem to be Spain based and have the yellow G that I posted above in stock at a discounted rate.

Yes, this morning!

Googled them and saw enough positive feedback to give me comfort.

Not a chance it will make it to my front door here in Dubai though, postal service is ste at the best of times, let alone when we are on lockdown, so the yellow one will sit alongside the all black at her house until either she comes here or I go there.

First foray into the world of G-Shock for me. Always liked them, but been reticent because I have puny wrists. This pair seem to wear OK though (the blue GA-2000 looks smaller in the flesh)
