Argos out of stock I bet it's full price when it's back in. Analogue Frogman anyone...?
https://world.g-shock.com/asia-mea/en/products/mog...
It’s certainly no replacement/back up for a dive computer and diving this year is looking extremely unlikely anyway.
Also I definitely don’t need another G shock.
But I think I will be unable to resist this.
Addictive little buggers aren’t they, G shocks...

I asked this a shirt while ago about the 'Casioak'. Are the metal cases for them branded too?
I ordered a metal case for my Casioak too. There are 2 versions, one in G Shock style with the writing and the other in the bezel style of a Royal Oak with the screws.

Anyone planning on picking up the new smart watch at end of the month?
On paper it does everything I need, GPS, Solar, can take rough dusty work environments, world clock. I'm worried it will just be a bit flaky. Unless its seemless and connects well I won't be interested. Its a straight choice between this and iwatch with a chunky protective case.
Yep. Got one on pre-order due to a couple of weeks along with a Casioak ordered at the same timeOn paper it does everything I need, GPS, Solar, can take rough dusty work environments, world clock. Thank you. Could you tell me who you bought from and/or how you chose which style you wanted? For obvious reasons, I can't see the branded case advertised.
If you look at the purchase review pics rather than the sellers pics, you'll see the branding.I wanted the RO style as I think it looks good with the standard black strap (I have a soft spot for metal and rubber anyway).
If I were to go standard g shock style in metal, I would have gone all in, including bracelet but we all have different personal taste.
There are many vendors on AliExpress fo what look like similar products. But look close enough and you can see variations in the bits for sale.
For the 5600/5610 metal bracelet, I have seen 2 types, 1 with a cheap pressed folding clasp and one with a milled clasp.
For the 2100, I have seen 2 metal bracelets, one is Casio style with the 2 round indents in each link (classic 5600/5610 style) or a plain one without these indents.

Looks like you’ve activated the easy viewing thing, from the manual:
Moving the Hands for Easy Viewing of the Digital Dials
You can use the procedure below to move the analog hands in order to better view a digital dial.
Note
The analog hands will not move while battery power is low.
Time calibration signal reception is disabled while the hands are in positions to
allow easier viewing of the digital dials (page E-79).
To move the hands to view a digital dial
Hold down C for about two seconds until HAND appears.
Releasing C will cause the HANDS indicator to flash and the hands will move away from the digital dial.
To return the hands to their normal positions
Hold down C for about two seconds until HAND appears.
Note
The hands will also return to their normal positions if you do not perform any operation for about one hour.
The hands also will move away from the digital dial automatically whenever you enter a setting mode in the Timekeeping Mode, Timer Mode, or Alarm Mode.
Time calibration signal reception is disabled while the hands are in positions to
allow easier viewing of the digital dials (page E-79).
Hold down C for about four seconds to return the hands to their normal positions
and switch to the Timekeeping Mode.
(C is the bottom left button)
