Case came in for my GA2100. Rather pissed got hit with tax, not so much the £6 VAT but the £8 handling charge.rolleyes

Would say it would look better on the version with white hands and detail rather than my all black one.

GW-B5600 arrived today. I've not been a fan of 5600 negative displays in the past but for some reason this one is okay. £55 for a solar, atomic, bluetooth gshock is a bargain.
Argos?
Yep. Amazon out of stock until 20th so had to pay delivery but still a great price..
Argos out of stock frown I bet it's full price when it's back in.
Looks that way, glad I picked one up when I did. Amazon say new stock on 20th May but may be back at full price.
Back in Argos now - still £55 !
Out of stock for delivery, would have to drive 30 miles!
I've managed to order it on Amazon for £55, will be a week or two before it gets here though.
Mine arrived early from Amazon today, for £55 it's a great bit of kit. And it's already back up to £80 plus on Amazon again. Pretty chuffed!

Has anyone had any problems with their gw5600? I deleted the power hungry app to rely on the radio control but it's not updating overnight. It works when I initiate a manual update just not automatically. Watch is sat on a window cill at night alongside my gw7900 which works flawlessly. I'm wondering if I have a duff one.

I had to force close the app as it was draining my battery (OnePlus 7) but I'm not sure what you mean. I used the app once to set the time and have a play around and haven't needed to use it since.

I haven't even downloaded the app... I just treat mine as a classic G Square. I bought it for the looks rather than the Bluetooth.

It's a cool function but once I set the phone up I can only see me connecting it to update the time.

Anyone planning on picking up the new smart watch at end of the month?

On paper it does everything I need, GPS, Solar, can take rough dusty work environments, world clock. I'm worried it will just be a bit flaky. Unless its seemless and connects well I won't be interested. Its a straight choice between this and iwatch with a chunky protective case.
Ordered mine today smile Will get some pics up when it arrives, hopefully mid next week! Will also be taking it straight out for a run, on a route I know well so can compare the watch with the app I normally use

Atomic time. My gw7900 usually auto updates the time overnight at about 2am. This gw5600 doesn't seem to pickup the radio signal.

have you tried a window sill, in a room pointing towards Carlisle (ie the far North West of England)

The transmitter is in Anthorn now, not Rugby.

I get a good signal, but I am 20 miles away.

Both watches are on a window cill. I'm down in the south west so that doesn't help but the 7900 doesn't have any problems. Oddly the 5600 decided to update last night.

Another happy customer here! Picked up for £55 at Argos when I saw the original post, ordered a black metal bezel off AliExpress for £20, arrived and fitted today! Voila, a Metal G for £75...really pleased with it

Thanks to the OP for the tip-off bow

New GBD H1000 has arrived! First impressions are that I love it, it is big but its not heavy and is very comfortable.

The only thing I don't like is you have to press the mode button 7 times to get to messages to be able to read them, but as it wasn't what I bought the watch for its not too much of a bother, but would have been good if there was a way to shortcut to the screen.

Seems to link up well with the app, its nice to be able to set it up through a phone rather than having to go through all the menus.

All in all chuffed to bits, I'm sure the red won't be to everyones taste but I already have stainless steel and black Gs, and always wanted a red one smile

Looks great ! Am expecting mine next week. Ordered the grey with red accents but might change for the white / green one.
Will you use it as a workout watch ? If so have you played with the app from a tracking perspective ??

Using it for running is the primary use for it, although was also an excuse to get one laugh I havent done any tracking yet but will be running a regular route tomorrow so will see how close it is to what I have been using and let you know! I have to admit I was torn between red and the grey, I think the grey/red looks really nice, although the white/green is nice too! Its a hard decision, especially when they aren't cheap

I was in two minds whether or not to post this picture as I'm not keen on the whole photos of watches with fancy vehicles in the background, but I'm prepared to feel a bit of a wally as I think its a cool pic, and who doesn't love a fire engine laugh

Thanks !
I'm using a tiny Garmin Vivo(something) for tracking my running at the moment. Issue I have is I cannot read the screen without my glasses and don't run in glasses biggrin

Cannot wait to get the "G". My reasoning around colour choice was grey with red I could wear anytime whereas the white is more a training watch and was not sure if the white would get dirty smile

The screen is really good on these, I have been mostly wearing one with the negative display which I have got used to so this seems incredibly vibrant in comparison! I did think I would just use mine for training but actually I like it so much I can see myself wearing it most of the time now

The H1000 was pretty accurate at tracking distance, was within around .2 km of what my usual phone app says, so really happy with that! It didn't log VO2 max, or recovery times, I'm guessing I ned to do something to activate that. One major criticism I have is that the instructions are really basic and you need to try and work it out yourself!

Sure you're not thinking of the Amazfit (Xiaomi) T-rex? Not a G, but actually looks surprisingly good for the price.
