Bought this as a little Xmas present to myself, it is really stealthy being black on black, I really like it.

Ordered one of these yesterday from ASOS reduced to £110 with an extra 25% off - expecting delivery this afternoon!

Couldn’t resist this 40th Anniversary G Shock.

Was really tempted with one of these but the strap doesn’t seem to match the watch at all from the pics I’ve seen and don’t want to keep returning watches.
How does it match up in real life?

Strap is definitely darker but the marbling effect has a similar hue. Personally prefer that rather than matched all around.

Picked up one of these having seen one posted on here a while back. Pretty funky and much more legible than I thought it would be.

Are there any Gshock selling sites. I've got
a MTG S1000D that I no longer wear. I hate ebay now and it's a bit too premium for Facebook marketplace

There's a thread at the top of the Watches section for selling on here now.

Nice pick up, I saw the listing after it had been sold and thanked my lucky stars. It would have been too tempting, and frankly I've bought a stack of watches recently.

I know what you mean - I seem to have ended up with quite a few square Gs. It was a good price though so too tempting.

The great thing is that G shocks get a free pass and don't count towards the total number in a collection biggrin

I got my first G-Shock over Christmas - nothing spectacular, but didn't have a red themed watch to match my new car (what a tart!)

It's a bluetooth / solar version - anyone know how long the battery lasts if you don't hide it in your shirt cuffs like the manual recommends?

I am liking the rugged looks and the lightweight compared to my other watches. smile

Different model without hands to turn but my 5610 always shows a full charge even using the light a bit and not actively trying to expose it to light. Over 12 months of use.

Is there a used market for G shocks? I bought one 7 years ago and wore it for a month hiking and camping in Canada, so a few scuffs, but not worn it since. It's just sitting in a drawer now
